Page numbers refer to American editions.

- When Aunt Marge is talking filth about his family he uses the idea of the broomstick care set that Hermione gave him to cool off his feelings.  (Sent in by Le-Ann Jayin)

- After the Fat Lady is attacked, it's Harry's arm Hermione grabs in fright. (p. 160, "Flight of the Fat Lady")

- When the Quidditch team tells Harry they thought he'd died when he fell from the sky during a match, a bystanding, bloodshot-eyes Hermione is visibly upset by the remark, letting out only a tiny squeak.  (p. 180, "Grim Defeat")

- In Honeydukes, Hermione worries over Harry getting in trouble for sneaking there.  Harry grins and teases her over whether she'll report him on it.  Stammering, she says of course she won't.  (Sheesh, that was cheating, Harry.  ;)  p. 199, "The Marauder's Map")

- After the disagreement over the Firebolt, Harry is the first one to seek out Hermione to make amends, worrying when he sees how stressed she looks. (p. 250-251, "The Patronus")

- After the Gryffindor/Ravenclaw match and Scabbers' 'death', Hermione is sitting alone in the common room; Harry breaks away from the celebrating mob to join her.  He again shows concern over how stressed she is and when Ron makes a cruel-natured comment about Hermione's indifference to Scabbers' demise which upsets Hermione greatly, Harry tells him to give her a break. (p. 264-165, "Gryffindor vs. Ravenclaw")

- After Crookshanks freezes the Whomping Willow after Ron's capture, she fiercely grabs Harry's arm again.  (Does that a lot, doesn't she?  ;)  p. 336, "Cat, Rat, and Dog")

- When the group is in the Shrieking Shack : "Hermione's grip on Harry's arm was so tight he was losing feeling in his fingers. He raised his eyebrows at her; she nodded again and let go." - sent in by Lea

- The entire chapter 'Hermione's Secret'; the two make an effective team in solving the Sirius predicament.  Plus, Hermione holds tightly to Harry again on the ride on Buckbeak - p. 413 - a moment in itself.  ;)

- Observation: in some mythologies, the Hippogriff is seen as a symbol of romantic love.  Interesting then that Harry and Hermione would be the ones riding it. - sent in by multiple visitors.
